"Basic Bodywork for Horse Lovers" is a six day workshop, divided in to two day sessions. This allows time for horse lovers to absorb the information and to practice what they have learned. Session 1 must be completed prior to taking Session 2. Session 2 must be completed prior to taking Session 3.

A completion certificate for each session will be issued upon request.


Session One, Two, and Three classes are held in Southern AZ. During the workshops, learn the basic principles of equine massage, begin gentle stretching, and reflexing. Get an introduction to muscular anatomy and function, skeletal landmarks, and evaluating structural balance. Learn supportive exercises to help your horse. Explore complementary care options available to horse owners.

Each two day session of the workshop is $210.00.

Auditors will be accepted at $40.00 per day.

Participants who have already taken the session may repeat the hands on portion for the auditor fee.


Each two day session of the workshop includes instructor provided reference material applicable to the curriculum. Additional reference material may be suggested for further study.

Participation is limited to eight students per session. Auditors are limited to one for each participant.

Marleigh is also available in Southern Arizona for one day workshops "Getting Started with Equine Massage" and to treat your horse to bodywork.
